*New! Maya Yoga Retreat

JUNE 1-6, 2026
This immersive week is your opportunity to reconnect with the heart of your practice through movement, study, and community. My intention behind this retreat is to bring together dedicated students of Maya Yoga for six days of inner exploration, connection, and transformation. Learn more.

The Maya Yoga Community is designed for dedicated students of yoga seeking expansion in their personal practice and teaching. This intimate community offers personalized guidance, structured support, and inspiration tailored to your unique journey on this path. Guided by Nicki Doane, you will embark on an exploration of your identity as a student and/or teacher and discover new ways to expand your impact on the mat.

Nicki created Maya Yoga Community as a supportive container to explore the unique stumbling blocks and challenges teachers have brought to her attention over the years.

Through specific asana, pranayama, and meditation practices, you will learn to embody the same approach that Nicki exemplifies in her teachings as a globally recognized master teacher. With over 30 years of experience, Nicki brings a holistic understanding of the body, making her an exceptional resource for you on this journey of self-development.

Nicki will guide you in developing healing flows for all bodies, instruction on methodologies in a powerful and attainable way, and teach you how to be supportive to your students in the utmost capacity. Community members will have opportunities to ask questions as they arise, and gain communal support from others.

You will be addressing these common roadblocks:

  • What challenges are holding you back?

  • What do you wish to learn more about in your personal practice?

  • As a new teacher, what is your biggest fear?

  • Where are you on your teaching path?

As a teacher, you have a responsibility to genuinely help others, which in turn benefits your own mental health and overall being. The Maya Yoga Community is a platform to share your journey with peers on a similar path, gain knowledge from likeminded students, and inspire one another through self-development and growth practices.

Maya Yoga Community is online & ongoing.

Nicki Doane

“Co-creation is an important part of this experience. Becoming a great teacher does not happen as a result of learning technique, it comes from taking that technique, embodying the teaching and bringing it into your own practice, and to your students. This takes time and is part of why I want to create this container. I want to support you along your path of stepping into your confidence and commitment to your community of students.”
