In this weekend workshop with Master Teacher Nicki Doane, you will be encouraged and challenged to explore areas of the mind and body from a more philosophical perspective. Through a study of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the codified text which guides the practice of yoga as a whole, we will gain knowledge on the intent of yoga and how the philosophy guides our intention in our practice. Through the physical practices of arm balances, hip opening, back bends and restorative postures, we will learn safe, effective and enhancing processes to opening the hips, developing the core, and extend the spine.
