Accept What Is, Let Go of What Was, & Have Faith in What Will Be
The only constant in life is Change.
It never comes when we expect it, and many of us resist it with all our might. The past year has been full of change for me and some of it has been incredibly difficult, and I have definitely resisted it. I now find myself in Bali ready to hit the reset button.
I woke up this morning to an email from my dad with a meme in it that I used as the title for this blog. It really couldn’t have been more serendipitous. This sentiment is what yoga is all about in a nutshell; it’s almost like a sutra. The Sanskrit word for faith is shraddha and it’s the reason why we practice yoga: the development and sustainability of that faith is what keeps us going forward in life.
I am now officially open to the changes that I know life will bring me. I need your support and acceptance now more than ever as I begin to navigate teaching and trainings on my own. We all are more afraid of finding our power than we are of losing it. Im getting stronger and stronger everyday and learning to believe in myself more and more.
If I can do it, so can you! In fact, let’s do it together.
Peace out yogis,
